Painful science
Newton getting hit by an apple might be an apocryphal tale. Even if true no
real harm was done using the head as a gravity detector. To date the hunt for dark matter has been thorough,
expensive and unsuccessful. A new paper proposes constraints on the nature of
dark matter based on the absence of unexplained gunshot-like impact wounds around the world. Dangerous work
astronomy.
